What is Assisted Living?

Assisted living can be the perfect answer for those individuals who prefer to have such chores as cooking, cleaning and laundry taken care of for them, leaving them free to enjoy programs, activities and outings. In addition, with a beauty/barber shop, whirlpool and fitness center within the building, it’s easy to be pampered.

Assisted living is often viewed as the best of both worlds. Residents have as much independence as they want with the knowledge that personal care and support services are available if they need them. Assisted living communities are designed to provide residents with assistance with basic ADLs (activities of daily living) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and more. If needed, residents may also receive assistance with the administration of their medications.  Developed as a social model, not a medical model, residents do not receive complex medical care, but rather supportive services.

Although residents may bring their cars, transportation is included and readily available thereby eliminating the need to incur all the expenses that owning and operating a personal automobile involves.

We offer a variety of comfortable and affordable apartment options, and many residences offer beautiful views of the pond and lovely garden areas. All apartments were designed with convenience in mind, as careful space planning was used throughout the residence to ensure easy access from the apartments to elevators, dining areas and community amenities. This also helps to ensure that our residents can enjoy the freedom of the entire building and our lovely grounds.
